Tata Neu launching in India on April 7 as a Super App for shopping

Tata Group is going to launch its super app called Tata Neu in India on April 7. This will be a collection of all the Tata Group companies that are consumer-facing and offer some form of shopping experience. The unified platform has been on testing by Tata Group employees and at present, only existing users can log in. However, from April 7, it will be open for business to the public at large. To entice new users, the company is offering various benefits and privileges with each purchase. The rewards could be in the form of Neucoins, a proprietary digital coin that will be convertible to INR (1 NeuCoin = ₹1) when you redeem them against other purchases on the platform.

Tata Neu is a unified platform that brings all the Tata Group shopping apps under one roof. It is available on both Android and iOS app stores. You could do the following types of transactions through the new Tata app:

Buy groceries from BigBasket Buy medicines or get a test from 1mg Buy electronic gadgets and gizmos from Croma Buy clothes and lifestyle items from Tata CLiQ and Westside Book airline tickets from Air Asia. Book your accommodation with good deals at IHCL. Buy your favourite meal on Qmin. Utility bill payments and recharges Send money to other people Financial Services

Tata Neu seems to have some form of Loyalty rewards program (details of which are yet to be announced).

Payments: You can make bill/purchase payments or send money to people in various modes like cards, EMI, Tata Pay UPI (Unified Payments Interface), and NeuCoins (1 NeuCoin = ₹1). QR Payments: Like other UPI solutions in the market, you can make payments by scanning a QR code All bills in one go: Tata Neu will keep a record of all our transactions and payments.
