Microsoft Store is the big winner of the Build 2022 developer conference

Microsoft Build 2022 is underway. It started off on May 24 and goes on till May 26, 2022. For the third consecutive year, the developer event is free and online. Here we will go through the key announcements made by the Redmond-based company and guess what, the Windows store is the big winner. It is being made more useful by opening it up to Win32 apps sans a waitlist. Microsoft has announced a set of new features for Windows 11 at the recent “Hybrid Work” event. Apple WWDC 2022 will take place from June 6 to June 10: iOS 16 and other expectations

For the third year in a row, Apple WWDC will be held online. Well, for the most part, that is. Apple has announced its 33rd Worldwide Developer Conference will take place from June 6 to June 10. On the first day, i.e., June 6th, there will be a special offline gathering of some developers and students to watch the WWDC keynote and State of Union videos at Apple Park. Google IO 2022 date set for May 11 and it will be an online event

Google I/O 2022 goes live on May 11. It will be a two-day event extending to May 12 as well. Going with the tradition, Google had released a puzzle to guess the date and details of its Annual Developer Conference. WhatsApp iOS beta on iOS now allows you to send disappearing messages

WhatsApp is bringing disappearing messages for iOS to the 2.21.140.9 beta update from Testflight. If you have the same version and yet cannot see or access the disappearing message feature, don’t panic. WhatsApp is rolling out this feature and you’ll get it in the next beta update.  The name of the new feature is officially called “view once.” The beta testers can send photos and videos on WhatsApp that will disappear when viewed once. Both, the sender and the recipient need to have this feature in order for it to work. Meanwhile, disappearing text messages will take 7 days to expire.  WhatsApp’s disappearing text feature is similar to Instagram’s. One key difference is that Instagram allows the user to replay photos and videos at the user’s behest.
