Nvidia’s new cards have created a stir in the GPU space offering higher performance at a lower price when compared to the predecessors. The entry-level RTX 3060 packs a similar performance to RTX 2080 for a fraction of the price at the time when the cards were released.
Since the announcement of the RTX 30 series cards, rumors of an Nvidia RTX 3080 with 20GB VRAM have been circulating given the gap between RTX 3080 10GB and RTX 3090 24GB cards. It seemed quite obvious that NVIDIA would fill this gap and release a card to fill the void.
Very little information has surfaced about the RTX 3080 Ti (or RTX 3080 Super) till now. As spotted by PCGamesN, a leaker named HXL had seen a data entry on the Asus support page listing two models of RTX 3080Ti 20GB cards. Additionally, the leaker had also noticed two entries for RTX 3060Ti 12GB cards. The listings from the support website have since been removed but HXL has a screenshot to corroborate his findings.

— HXL (@9550pro) December 25, 2020The models listed follow Asus’s naming pattern and going by it the two-card models have a difference in clock speeds as one could be running at the stock frequency and the other would have a factory overclock profile.

The existence of these cards is not yet confirmed. Also, these cards have not leaked anywhere else. Given the current supply issue of the Nvidia 30 series cards, we might see a paper launch of the new cards soon.
