Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro are set to launch in India on September 3 and ahead of the official unveiling, an alleged unboxing video of the Realme 7 has appeared online. Several key specifications of the Realme 7 series have been leaked previously by multiple sources so now we have a fair idea as to what to expect from the successors of the Realme 6 and 6 Pro.

An alleged unboxing video of the upcoming Realme 7 has been posted by the Mix with remix YouTube channel that gives us a look at the design of the upcoming phone. The video showcases what looks like the official retail box of the Realme 7 and the phone seems to have a two-tone design on the back.

The retail box reveals some key specifications that corroborate previous leaks, and we also see the camera module that’s situated in the top-left corner. Let’s take a look at the leaked specifications of the Realme 7.

The retail box of the alleged Realme 7 in the video reveals a bunch of key specifications that are in line with the previous leaks. The Realme 7 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging out-of-the-box, courtesy of the Dash Charging solution. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of opting for an in-screen sensor as the display still uses an LCD panel.

Realme 7 Pro leaked specifications

Realme 7 Pro specifications were also leaked and it is slated to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution.

The 7 Pro could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with an octa-core CPU and is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phones are expected to run on Android 10-based Realme UI out-of-the-box.

One of the most exciting features of the Realme 7 Pro is going to be its support for 65W fast charging courtesy of SuperDart fast-charging system that debuted on the Realme X50 Pro. The 7 Pro is expected to come equipped with a 4,500mAh battery.

It also comes with dual stereo speakers and measures 8.7 millimetres in thickness and 182 grams in weight. The Realme 7 Pro could be offered in two colours, Mirror Blue and Mirror Silver.

First ever drone-delivered kidney is no worse for wear

Drone delivery really only seems practical for two things: take-out and organ transplants. Both are relatively light and also extremely time sensitive. Well, experiments in flying a kidney around Baltimore in a refrigerated box have yielded positive results — which also seems promising for getting your pad thai to you in good kit. The test flights were conducted by researchers at the University of Maryland there, led by surgeon Joseph Scalea. He has been frustrated in the past with the inflexibility of air delivery systems, and felt that drones represent an obvious solution to the last-mile problem. Scalea and his colleagues modified a DJI M600 drone to carry a refrigerated box payload, and also designed a wireless biosensor for monitoring the organ while in flight. After months of waiting, their study was assigned a kidney that was healthy enough for testing but not good enough for transplant. Once it landed in Baltimore, the team loaded it into the container and had it travel 14 ...
